Mobile polling and Phone Assisted Voting

Mobile polling will be available at special institutions such as nursing homes and retirement villages for patients and residents only.

Phone assisted voting is a secure option for those with visual, physical or other impairments in two easy steps 1) call 13 68 00 to register 2) then vote using the details provided.

You can vote in-person on election day, from 8am-6pm.

How to mark your ballot paper

Secret Harbour By-election: understanding the count

On election night, the preferential voting system uses two counts to provide an early indication of the result. These include the First Preference count and the Two Candidate Preferred (TCP) count. While these counts provide an early indication of the likely outcome, the official result is determined through the full distribution of preferences.
