The last of local government voting packages should have been delivered into letter and post office boxes by now across the State. More than 1.6 million packages have been sent out by the WA Electoral Commission for 92 local governments.
Electors have until 6pm on 16 October to ensure their completed ballot paper is returned to each local government office. They can do this by posting them back in the free reply-paid envelope supplied or by dropping them into a ballot box in the local government office.
Unlike the State Government election in March this year, electors simply have to put a tick on the ballot paper next to the correct number of candidates for the local government ward or district. Instructions are on the ballot paper.
Be a vocal local.
Don't miss out on the chance to choose the decision makers in your local government.
