Dollar value amounts outlined in the Electoral Act 1907 (section 175AC(1)) have been updated for the 2026-27 financial year. These amounts are adjusted based on the consumer price index (CPI) for Perth published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The new amounts come into effect on 1 July 2026.
